Anatolian Emotion 22" Light Ride (SOLD)

Looking for a ride with a touch of flat ride character – without giving up that classic Turkish voice? Then keep reading!

This is a 22" Light Ride from Anatolian's popular Emotion series – a cymbal on the thinner side, with a fairly flat profile.

The sound carries a clear flat ride character: there's a crash quality simmering around the stick impact area without ever taking over – in fact, it crashes more than a true flat ride, while still keeping that same smooth, flat tonal profile shining through. Naturally, there's more body to it than you'd find in a typical flat ride.

You'll find the best hold right around the Emotion logo. Move further toward the centre and the sound opens up more, and if you dig in hard enough with the tip of the stick, you can push the cymbal into a crash.

The bell is a touch more open and not especially distinct on its own – dark and crashy – but it blends nicely with the rest of the cymbal.
