These are standard 52mm tension rods that fit Drum Gear's SnareWorks snare drums.
These tension rods are necessary if you want to put single-flanged hoops or vintage hoops on your snare drum that uses 42mm tension rods. This is because the small claw hooks on single-flanged hoops and vintage hoops raise the tension rods a bit compared to the other rims.
