With the Ahead Drum Bumper, you get a simple and practical “bumper” that mounts directly onto your snare drum – right where it’s most likely to make contact with your first rack tom. It is installed under the tuning lug facing the tom, effectively protecting the finish from scratches, marks, and wear caused by the snare hoop.

Especially in tight or compact setups, where the snare and tom are positioned close together, unwanted contact can easily occur while playing. The Drum Bumper is a discreet yet highly effective solution that absorbs the impact before it reaches the drum.

The design is intentionally straightforward: a solid piece of metal with a soft rubber coating. Nothing more is needed to protect your drums without affecting tuning, setup, or playing feel. Installation requires no permanent modification and can easily be removed or repositioned if needed.
