About Drum Dial Triggers
DrumDial Drum Triggers offer a durable and sensitive solution for triggering your acoustic drums electronically. The triggers are compatible with all major trigger modules and can be used on snare drums, bass drums, and toms.
Each DrumDial Trigger includes:
- High-quality shielded cable
- ¼” jack plug
- Double-sided mounting tape
- Velcro strip
- Mounting clip for attaching to a tension rod lug
The trigger element is embedded in military-grade epoxy and sealed in rubber. This ensures long-lasting durability and high reliability – even under demanding conditions.
How to Install a DrumDial Trigger
- Remove the backing from one side of the double-sided tape and attach it to the flat side of the trigger.
- Remove the second backing and stick the trigger onto the drumhead – about 2 cm from the edge, near a tuning lug.
- Secure the ¼” jack plug using either the clip or Velcro:
- Using the clip: Remove a tension rod where you want to mount the clip, place the clip, insert the rod through the clip and hoop, and tighten.
- Using Velcro: Attach the Velcro to the jack plug and the drum shell or rim, and press the parts together firmly.
- Connect the trigger to your drum module and adjust parameters like sensitivity, threshold, and gain as needed.
