CymLok (Exa) Quick Release Cymbal Locks

CymLok is a very practical product that replaces the traditional wing nut that you normally use to fasten your cymbals.

With a CymLok, switching cymbals becomes very easy. In fact, it becomes so easy that it is no longer unrealistic to make a cymbal change between songs.

How does CymLok work?

You simply squeeze the CymLok to open it, place it over the rod of your cymbal stand and release - boom!

Things to know when using CymLok

It should be noted that there should be approx. 15mm free threaded rod available for mounting your CymLoks. This varies slightly depending on the make of your cymbal stand, as well as the thickness of your felt discs. But make sure you have enough threaded rod.

What if there is not enough space?

If you find that your cymbal felt takes up too much space, you can easily solve this problem by using some flatter felt pieces - like Cympads Optimizers which you can buy in 8mm, 12mm and 15mm. The advantage of Cympad is that they optimize the working conditions of your cymbals at the same time.
