About the TM5 Drill-Free Rail w/Single Ball Tom Holder
The TM5 Drill-Free Rail is INDe's rail-mount solution for fitting a tom to your bass drum without touching a drill. It's built around two BR4 base brackets, which take the place of two existing lugs, so the whole rail attaches using hardware your drum already has.
The TM5 handles lug-hole spacings larger than 2" – up to 3" – and can also be used in place of centre-mounted double lugs, covering a wide range of bass drums. The rail itself offers a bit of forward or backward offset, so you can fine-tune tom placement rather than being locked into whatever position the lugs happen to sit in.
This Is How the TM5 Is Different
If you already know INDe's Low Profile Drill-Free Rail and you're wondering what the TM5 brings to the table, it comes down to reach and adjustability. The Low Profile Drill-Free Rail stays a touch lighter and lower-profile, and works on most drums just fine on its own. So if your kit falls within the usual spacing, the Low Profile Drill-Free Rail does the job – the TM5 is there for the wider spacings, centre-mount lugs, and the extra placement flexibility.
Tom Holder Options
The TM5 is available with your choice of three tom holder types: Gearless Tilter, Single Ball, or Double Ball - the product you have picked here is the Single Ball version.
L-Arm Diameter
Choose from 9.5, 10.5 or 12.7mm L-arms – available to select at checkout, matching the hole diameter of your tom bracket.
Bass Drum Size
The TM5 is available for 18", 20" or 22" bass drums with 8 lugs, or 22" and 24" bass drums with 10 lugs – select the size and lug count that matches your kit when you order.
