Fancy a light, lively crash with a full, warm voice? Then read on!
This 16" Light Crash from Anatolian's Emotion series belongs to an otherwise fairly traditional cymbal line – with one small twist: Emotion is almost always light crashes. I personally like that, because they're a little thinner and more lively to play.
The cymbal is quite flexible, which is usually a good sign that it's easy to get going – and that holds true here too.
The voice is very full, complex and warm. That makes it a great pick for situations where you don't need to make too much noise: you still get a lovely, full sound even when you keep the level down.
Use it as a ride and it's just airy enough that you can still get some definition out of it.
All in all, a lovely crash that's easy to play and sounds great. Watch the video and hear the exact cymbal you're buying.
