Anatolian BC Worship 10" Splash

This 10” Splash from Anatolian’s BC Worship series is a full-bodied and surprisingly substantial splash cymbal with plenty of opening and a beautifully focused core to the sound.

The cymbal weighs 282 grams and carries the serial number A18275.

The BC Worship series features a distinctive finish with a raw bell, brilliant top surface and a traditionally lathed underside. This combination gives the cymbal a nice balance of warmth, clarity and a little extra focus in the attack.

Although splash cymbals are normally very thin, you immediately notice that this one has a little more substance. It has a pleasant stiffness that gives it a slightly different playing feel from many other Anatolian splashes.

One of the first things you notice is just how much this cymbal opens up. There is a lot of splash sound here, and it crashes surprisingly big for a 10” cymbal.

At the same time, it never loses its focus. There is still a clearly defined core to the sound – what I often describe as a slightly bell-like character. That allows it to deliver the quick splash effect while still sounding full and musical.

All in all, a really lovely 10” splash for the drummer who wants a little more volume, a little more body and a stronger personality than a traditional splash cymbal.
