Here we have one of the beautiful Diamond (formerly Diamond Trinity) cymbals from Anatolian.
A cymbal that is characterized by a slightly larger bell than most cymbals of the same size, which gives the cymbal a particularly controlled crash, with good control.
This particular sample is quite "medium" in weight and reaction. Not soft, nor heavy - however, a cymbal with a little weight, which also gives the cymbal more volume.
As with all Diamond cymbals, this cymbal is also characterized by the almost fine-grained way it crashes.
A great crash cymbal for rock, pop, gospel… basically all genres where you think a bright-sounding cymbal is what it takes.
