Anatolian Emotion 10" Splash

This is a 10" Splash from Anatolian's Emotion series, weighing 302 grams – slightly heavier than average for the size, and you can both hear and feel it.

On the scale from airy to bell-like, this particular splash leans clearly towards the bell-like side – without losing its fast response or the light "trashy" character that makes a splash so useful as an effect cymbal.

The extra weight also adds a bit more sustain, and the cymbal can almost double as a miniature ride. Play further in on the surface and you get a more focused, bell-like sound. Move out towards the edge, and it opens up into the classic splash effect.

All in all, a great splash if you want a bit more presence than average – even when playing with more power.
