Anatolian Mystic 8" MicroFX Splash (SOLD)

This 8" MicroFX Splash from Anatolian's Mystic series is a small effect cymbal with a dry, fast and characterful sound – but with a touch more body than you'd normally expect from a cymbal this size.

The Mystic series is known for its dark, dry and airy character, and the MicroFX models take that a step further with the many small perforated holes. The result is a very fast effect cymbal with a short decay and plenty of personality.

This particular example stands out a little. Where some Mystic MicroFX splashes feel very soft and airy, this one feels slightly stiffer. That gives a touch more substance to the attack and a tone that leans a little towards the bell-like side, without losing the characteristic dry MicroFX sound.

The extra body means the cymbal cuts through the mix a little more clearly than many other 8" effect splashes, while still working as a quick effect that comes and goes in an instant.

If you're after a small effect cymbal with plenty of character, fast response and a dry, slightly trashy sound, this Mystic MicroFX Splash is a really exciting choice.
