Here we have one of the truly fantastic ride cymbals from CymbalWorks' Casablanca series. This is a lovely thin 22" light-ride, with a nice and semi-dry stick definition.
Moreover, the strike on this cymbal is surrounded by a discreet and pleasant "wash" as you ride it.
When you give the cymbal a hit on the edge, it crashes minimally, quite controlled and dry.
Therefore, we have here a thin cymbal with really good "built-in" control and plenty of tonal facets to play with.
